The 9th Tactical Fleet was organized and activated by Starfleet as a direct response to the many threats the Federation has encountered exploring the stars. The 9th Tactical Fleet directly reinforces Earth's defenses, augmenting their combat capabilities and ensuring the continued readiness of Starfleet and the security of the United Federation of Planets. The 9th Tactical Fleet is a member of the Grand Alliance. A State of War exists between the 9th Tactical Fleet and the 106th Fleet. This conflict will go on until settled in a traditional 5v5 PvP.
